About Nancy
As an independent contractor I provide on-site Critical Incident Response Services (CISM) for EAP companies, I am a masters level licensed independent social worker (LICSW) with over twenty five years' experience.
Since 2015 my practice has been devoted to on-site Critical Incident Response (CIR) and disruptive work events. This allows me the freedom to quickly respond to CIR service requests.
In 2014 I received a Certificate in Specialized Training in EAP Critical Response: A Multi-Systemic Resiliency Approach through Robert Douglas and Associates. I also have extensive critical incident training through EAPA, Cigna, R3 Continuum, Empathia, Magellan, and Workplace Options.
I assist companies and their employees with debriefing, stabilization and recovery, providing psychological first aid, promoting resilience, positive self-care, and psychoeducational information. I am skilled at assisting management and employees following traumatic events such as deaths, suicides, accidents, robberies, and reductions in workforce.
Currently I am contracted to provide critical incident response with the following EAP companies: Anthem, Cigna, ComPsych, EAP Consultants, E4Health, and R3 Continuum.
I graduated with honors from Minnesota State University – Mankato with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Consumer Science and a Masters Degree in Pyschological Counseling. I have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) since 1994.
